Show Rules
- This Show is for trade ONLY. Individuals who cannot document their direct professional affiliation to the trade will NOT be admitted. NO Guests are permitted.
- Samples and / or products may not be removed from the Show by visitors at anytime.
- NO CHILDREN under the age of 12 are permitted on the Show floor at anytime. Infants under 6 months are allowed on the Show floor as long as they are in a personal carrier. No strollers are permitted on the Show floor. Professional daycare is available for a nominal fee. Please visit the "show services" section of this web site for more information.
- The use of luggage carts is strongly discouraged.
- On-site Registration closes two hours before show closing each show day.
- Buyers are allowed on the Show floor only. Buyers must promptly leave the Show upon Show closing each day.
- In compliance with the City of Vancouver regulations, there is no smoking allowed in any area of BC Place.
Business Credentials For Registration
If you have previously attended the Vancouver Gift Show or any other GLM show, you can update your company profile by clicking here.
If you have never attended the Alberta Gift Show or any other GLM show, you can register by clicking here.
Please be advised that the GLM shows are ONLY open to the Trade and proper business credentials MUST be provided before your registration is accepted and complete.
You must submit proper industry related retail business identification to qualify your company, and separate proof of employment to qualify each employee who wishes to attend the show.
IMPORTANT
For on-site registration and pre-registration, please enclose or bring proper business identification in order to receive your show badge.
Please provide:
- TWO forms of Company identification
- ONE proof of employment for each attendee
See below for acceptable identification. We reserve the right to request additional business identification if deemed necessary.
Acceptable COMPANY identification includes at least TWO of any of the following:
- Sales tax license
- Business license
- Company cheque
- Several recent invoices from industry manufacturers for goods purchased at wholesale/in quantity
- Appropriate "Yellow Pages" listing
- Store/commercial lease indicating type of business
- Photograph of your store front
- Mail Order Companies to provide catalog
- Manufacturers' Representatives (multi-line) should provide a list of lines currently being handled
- Wholesalers, importers and exporters should provide samples of printed material (brochures, catalogs, etc.) that show product selection and inventory.
Acceptable EMPLOYEE identification includes at least ONE of any of the following:
- Personalized, imprinted business card
- Copy of W-2 form
- Copy of cancelled company payroll check or pay-check stub
- Copy of company insurance card
- Copy of company credit card with employee's and company's name
